Borys Baum, Freelance Advisor to the Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Will Speak at the UGW Conference
On February 24, Smile-Expo will hold the UGW conference in Kyiv. Borys Baum, Freelance Advisor to the Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, will speak at the event. As part of a Q&A session, he will answer questions from the attendees.
Mr. Baum is a specialist in the organization and development of the gambling business. In 2019, he took part in the development of a draft law on the regulation of gambling activities in Ukraine. As an end effect, it formed the basis for gambling legislation adopted in 2020.
Previously, the expert worked as an anti-crisis Manager at Euro Games Technology (EGT), an international company specializing in the production of equipment and software for the gambling industry. He also studied the structure of the global gambling market and the features of gambling licensing. After that, he was involved in the creation of a platform for online casinos and bookmaking.
In December 2020, the Commission for Regulation of Gambling and Lotteries approved a candidacy of Borys as the First Deputy Head of the Advisory and Expert Council.
The collegial structure will function under the gambling regulator. It will include no more than 20 people. Council members will provide the commission with expertise in various areas of the gambling market.
